One of my favorite travel experiences when I lived in Paris centers around the beautiful little apartment I had in Saint Germain-des-Pres. It's one of those life experiences that you never forget - oh so Paris. The best part of it was just being in the neighborhood and observing daily life. You find those "A-Ha" Moments. Also, one of the best ways to travel is making friends with people from all over the world and stopping in for a visit. Free place to stay. Good company. What more could you ask for.
