Somewhere in Malaysia every New Year's Eve, there's a MAJOR party going on. It's an international VIP event hosted by D'Touch - the Miss Tourism International Beauty Pageant.
The underlying concept behind the event is to showcase the beauty of Malaysia's "bustling cities, idyllic towns and sun-kissed islands." What better way to do this than to showcase that beauty in living color with gorgeous girls from around the world promoting the beauty of their home countries. More than 30 international beauty queens have been participating since 1994.
So if you're the fashionista, you know those shows are addicting...but more exciting this year is that the Kingdom of Swaziland is participating and actually sending some gorgeous Swazi chica to Malaysia in December. Princess Sikhanyiso of Swaziland is hosting the first Miss Tourism Swaziland 2013/2014 contest through her newly launched Imbali Foundation.
Twenty contestants from the kingdom will be selected and undertake a fitness test, a beauty course and be tested on their knowledge of Swazi history and culture. The foundation plans to air footage of the contestants with a tv show series topping the experience off with an evening gala.
